What a riot driving this little Toyota Camray, our rental car. It has no ignition or key. You put the remote beside you and then, with your foot on the brake, you press the power button and it turns on. If you forget the brake nothing happens and you sit in absolute silence wondering what's next. It is so quiet you sit there waiting for the motor to start when a sign comes on the dash and says 'ready' so you know it's going and you can go. It is a Hybrid Synergy Electric System so there is a real engine plus the electric motor which operates when you're sitting still. Very fuel efficient. It's only is a 4 cylinder and Ron says ' another car I'd never buy'.
Getting the final chores done. Did a big shop at Costco and Superstore today so we're stocked up. I'll do bedding and laundry soon. We'll phone tomorrow and see how the car is coming along.
My doctor called me to come in and told me that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which finally explains the problems I've been having. I guess I'm just going to plod along and see the the RA Dr next spring. You can't start the medication and take off for 10 months.
