Going through this area of downtown Phoenix was like a return to the 50's. There were old style motels every second block. In a spruced up boutique area there, they had permanent sculptures on display with one on each corner. They depicted the evolution of Phoenix with everything from native Indians, children on a tire swing, a builder of the Masonic Hall, a high heeled shoe and about 60 more. It was fun.
