We have certainly enjoyed being with Vicki and Pete at their Leaf Verde Park. There are activities every time you turn around. They are busy with water volleyball several times a week, here's Pete serving and getting points. I joined Vicki and the ladies for a 'noodle float' daily at 2 p.m. You learn a lot about the area in the pool. Friday a.m. it was donuts and coffee and 6 p.m. was ice cream and the movie 'Swing Vote' which was entertaining.
There are pretty sunrises at 7:30 a.m. We had Vicki and Pete over for prime rib tonight and enjoyed their company before we hit the road Monday.
We are heading for Red Bay, Alabama to the factory that makes our Tiffen Phaeton coach. When we were getting a few warranty things done, they found a potential problem with our bedroom slide and it has to be lifted out and the gear mechanism replaced which needs to be done at the factory. So off we go on a cross country tour to places that can only be very interesting. We've decided to go east on I 10 as the higher elevations can still expect ice and snow in February and it's raining here outside Phoenix right now. So, we're on the road again and I mean REALLY on the road.
