I had a lovely Mother's Day weekend. Chris and Julie with Josh, Zach and Isaiah came over for a visit on Saturday with a beautiful purple flowering plant and card. Sunday Ron and I were heading to Sawbuck's for brunch when Paul called to say he had flowers for me. We picked him up to join us and more flowers, big purple irises. The motorhome looks gorgeous with the green upholstery and now purple accents. It's very nice to have a one on one visit instead of a large crowd, so we enjoyed being with Paul. Next we headed to Vancouver. We drove past English Bay shown here, with ships in the harbor, paintings and sculptures by the shore. We toured around Stanley Park seeing the evidence of the many trees blown down in a terrible storm last winter. Quite astounding, the power of the wind. Then we stopped in at Peter and Brenda's and visited them for 2 hours. It was a cloudy, cooler day but no rain.
