We started our leisurely morning off with a David Air Pancake. Our neighbour, David Aerye, taught Suzanne how to make these when she was a kid, and I didn't know for 20 years that they'd named them after him and the spelling was wrong. It is baked in the oven where it puffs way up and it sprinkled with lemon juice and icing sugar. Quite a treat.
We picked up fish and chips and took them to the beach for lunch. It was a great sunny day, good for jumping waves and lots of fun.
I sent S and J out for dinner for their 14th wedding anniversary.
