We drove through dense jungle, leaving the Caribbean ocean. Later, we had some good road. This man has gone miles collecting wood for his home. Tires hanging in the trees, indicate a bus stop. Bacalar is a small town founded by the Spanish with a 17 century, Forte San Felipe to protect from pirates. Our dry camping RV Park is on a beautiful blue lagoon.
