Greek Dinner

We had a lovely time at Claude and Noreen's with a delicious Greek dinner.

Their new patio is finished and beautiful.

The PNE

We went to the PNE and loved it. Our famous runners were out front.

I saw the Clydesdales being groomed in the barns.

We had to bring home mini donuts.

I don't think there are any old time loggers left in BC. The show is more girls dancing with the occasional logging feat thrown in.
Ron spun the wheel at Global TV and won a foam microphone.

Lasagne on our Strreet

We needed to have some lasagne so we did.

Irish Music in the Park

We met Chuck and Barb at Peace Arch Park where Blaine has provide concerts each Sunday in August.

Today was Celtic, the music and dancers.

The dancers moved so fast,  I couldn't really get a good picture.

Lots of fun in the salt air. 

We enjoyed snacks and the rose garden in the Park.

A Mexican Dinner

Our neighbours spend their winters in Mexico so treated us to a lovely authentic dinner.
The RV crowd sure has good cooks.

Christine and Struan's Wedding

We had the most wonderful day with everyone.

Christine's choice of a wedding in nature was the best.
Wonderful to be together.

.So excited to see our other nieces.

Our Niece's Wedding at Whistler

We arrived at 1 pm but check in isn't until 4 these days so we joined Wallachs poolside and had a nice visit.

Our 2 bedroom suite overlooked a chair lift with riders and hikers including a dog  on the mountain in Creekside.

Peter and Brenda joined us for dinner at Dusty's and both families and friends gathered for the evening. We were delighted to meet Struans family.

And many friends and relies.

Saturday we went to Whistler and saw the  Olympic venue.

They have truly made this into a world class year round area. There was a dirt bike track for the kids.
