Hottest Summer Ever - down to the beach.

Can you believe this is Sept. 21? I grabbed my friend Joni from high school and down to the beach we went..

Our famous White Rock Pier.

 We enjoyed the metal sculptor. Now that he is 'unemployed' he's really having fun and very good. Beautiful eagles holding fish in their talons.

Some lovely paintings.

Kids were taking their last jump off the pier, sure made me think of my kids jumping at Crescent Beach.

.Our biggest treat was a Grandpa with his granddaughter performing magic tricks.

The Artful Dodger

We played in a fundraiser pool tournament in Langley with shooters from about 4 different leagues.

Ron shooting. There were some heavy duty great players here. Lots of fun and good company.

My Ocean Cruise home

My ferry arrives. It's about 30 min to Horseshoe Bay.

It,s a privilege to enjoy this beautiful scenery.

Home to White Rock and the clever,  nostalgic mural on the side of our Playhouse, home of the Christmas Pantomime so famous here.

Family Time

No school so it's time to keep kids busy.
A horse riding lesson for the girls.

Friday art classes.

A Saturday patio party for 6 families.

A walk at one of the 7 beaches we go to.

And relaxing hot tubs.

Cards Again

We enjoyed patio time.

in our most beautiful sunny summer, a wonderful salmon dinner and then some euchre. 

Beach Walks and Neighbours

Celine and I had a lovely walk down at the beach.

and Ron and I enjoyed a huge yellow delicious tomato from their garden, next to a red delicious apple.

 Another get together with our great neighbours.

Playing Bid Euchre

We had a great time at Glen and Leah's playing our favorite card game.

Had more fun playing again at CJ and Joans.
Then at Joe and Loretta's where Joe interviewed with Ron's foam PNE microphone

 and then a crib game developed.
