Retired Folk

Jamie decided to move his 5th wheel over 3 ft today. This is how the retired guys help. At one point, there were 7 fellows giving advice.

We have 4 rabbits running around here, one was sleeping, stretched out just like a dog in front of my lettuce, making me very nervous. That's why everything is elevated on concrete blocks.

Tons of people and tons of fun with good friends.

Realty World 'Sistas'

We worked together in the 80's at Realty World McQuistins on Johnston Rd in White Rock and are still treasured friends. We try to lunch every couple of months.

A Walk at Crescent Beach

My 'sister' Mardi and I went down to the beach and did a very nostalgic drive past where we both started our married lives, quite a few years ago.  We spent our days by the ocean with the little ones like this mom.
Our kids played on the streets, there were chickens and goats in the back yards, we spent the summers swimming and playing backgammon on the beach while the kids were swimming, playing tennis, sailing boats, or riding their bikes.

 We still enjoy walking along the back lanes also.

Grandsons with cars.

We are loving this sunny weather and have had friends visit, gone to a Cinco de Mayo Party, enjoyed the beach, cleaned out some of our storage and visited grandkids. Both of the boys have just bought cars. Here's Zack with his Acura and Josh with his Honda.

Pool Banquet

Had a great gathering at the end of season Awards Banquet for the winter league. We only played once in the fall but it sure was fun to see everyone.
We played a fun tournament of 'speed pool'. You have to literally run around the table sinking the balls as fast as you can. You throw the cue to your partner to save time. Bob and I took 3min 16secs while the winners did it in 1:46. Are we slackers or what?

My Sister is Here

Rosemary and Alex from Nelson arrived today to overnight in our park.

We had a lovely visit and went down to the beach. There was this guy there playing this unique instrument from Austria, sounding like a tympani drum.

 R and I swam in the morning for an hour. It turned out, we walked for the hour, talking all the way back and forth in the pool.
