White Rock Beach

       I had my eye checked by the Dr .today, 6 days post-op and all is going well.  Unfortunately I can't go in the swimming pool so I am walking with a little power walking thrown in.
Our visit to the beach was 2 weeks ago when we got home. We had 80 degree weather so it's nice to look at as we sit in the 'liquid sunshine' we are currently enjoying, helping to keep our forests green.           

 Ron and I had to satisfy our fish and chip craving so down to the beach we went.

                               And good food.

Fun with Friends

We had the Jambalaya crowd for Euchre which we always enjoy.

                          We enjoyed our first outdoor party at Don and Deb's.

We arrived home Apr.3 and settled in at Pacific Border, our home park. We were busy with all the getting organized for papers, cable, appts, income tax etc.  It was lovely to check in with the kids and I went over to Gibsons Thur. on my usual Pacific Cruise.

We enjoyed book club that night reviewing 'Room' in the hot tub, best book club I've ever gone to with great women. Sat. we went to North Vanc, for gymnastics and I enjoyed a beautiful spot on the rooftop deck when all the flipping and twirling got to me.

Sat. they threw a Welcome Home to the Queen Mother party which was great fun seeing all the families again.

Sunday was girl talk, a 3 km walk down at Bonnybrook beach and quiet times with both girls. Lexi and I went downtown and visited the art gallery and artist gift store, both interesting. Her favourite. Lovely weekend.

Our final treat was visiting friends and seeing their view as they are building a new house.
