Wine Pairing Dinner at the Townhall

We had a fabulous dinner at the Townhall which used to be the Black Forest.

We started with a Bruschetta Bar paired with a Sauvignon Blanc.

The beet and sweet potato salad was good, paired with Dirty Laundry Say Yes Pinot Gris.

We had stuffed chicken followed by Chocolate Cannoli with Dirty Laundry A Girl in Every Port NV Ruby.

Great evening, delicious food and good company.

Happy Hour and Lunar Eclipse

We needed a happy hour in the sunshine so we all gathered at Jan even tho she's away.

 Lots of conversation and Bailey came to visit.

We needed blankets and a firepit. We stayed out until the lunar eclipse started and wandered the streets with all the neighbours as we ducked behind trees and streetlights to see better. I borrowed this picture but our view was pretty much like this.

                  Great evening. Such a great group of friends.

Retail Therapy and Wine Tour

We had a great time today with the pool girls. We started at the Vanilla store in White Rock.
,

 Our bus picked us up and  took us to their Langley store where we shopped and enjoyed lunch with wine. Next we drove out to Port Moody for a cooking demo with a specialty snacks and drink in a Kitchen Specialty store.

There was a Halloween store across the street with Ma and Pa in front.

We pulled into Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot as our guide announced we were all getting a flu shot but instead we were treated to wine and a makeover demonstration.

There was champagne tasting on the bus on the way to a wine Store for 4 more tastings.

Here we are resting up for the trip home. Fun day, quiet evening at home.

Bid Euchre and Tradex RV Viewing

Back to another good night of bid euchre at Glen and Leah's.

                    We sure enjoy this game.
Ron can't resist previewing all the new styles in RVs every fall.

Jan's Pig Pool Party

We headed to Jan's newhouse for her annual pool tournament.

We played in her huge shed.

New Kind of Going Away Party - Soup Party

We had a soup going away party for Jan as she is going to Ohio. We enjoyed Chicken Tortilla, Sauerkraut, Italian Pasta and  Broccoli and Cheese soups. Delicious.

Langley Car Show

This was like a trip through memory lane. It started with a TR2 with a soft top roof that Lenny had when I met him and we drove it, until we had 3 kids.

The next for me was a 56 Chev like we used at our wedding and moved up to from the TR2.
