We got to Santa Nella the first night and boondocked at Rotten Robbies, Rollings Hills early the 2nd day so enjoyed the sunshine and hockey game. 7 Feathers at Canyonville the 3rd night and Dan and Fay were there so a fun visit. Stopped at a rest stop just into WA after the 205 Portland bypass and John Allan was walking his dog so we camped together at Tulalip and enjoyed a visit and Prime Rib for dinner. Beautiful trip until rain Sunday morning when we had to hook up at PBRVP.

A Fabulous Spring.
What I love about the desert. Seeing incredible sunsets every night,
Hanging my sheets outside in the sunshine from Oct. to March, smelling oh so fresh.
Fun with many friends.
And more friends.
Watching sun shadows on the mountains early in the mornings.
More sunsets.
Knowing that our Angel on the Mountain is always protecting us.

More Cactus Blooms than Ever Before
It was such a warm spring that we have seen cactus bloom that I've never seen before.
These flowers are less than 1/4 inch.
This one is full of blooms which will go to flowers soon. Unfortunately I'll miss it.
All are beautiful.

Thurday Mini Golf
We have a mini golf tournament every Thur. It's just a bunch of fun.
Ron and Betty.
Darell on the dreaded 18th hole.
One day I got 6 hole in ones. That miracle has never come close again. 1 if I'm lucky.

Desert Flowers
I have so enjoyed my walks with Ida, Donna and Phyllis whenever we are available. They are scheduled for Tue, Wed and Friday but too many times something else gets in the way. These pretty soft purple ones are all over the desert and in gardens too.
These pale yellow ones look like our dandelions and are everywhere in the desert.
The Bird of Paradise usually shows more blue and is about 6 " across.
Walking down by our laundry, we are nearly overcome with the smell of Jasmine. Beautiful.
Love these. They are miniature gardenias and the smell heavenly. So reminds me of Mom and the ones in the Greenhouses that Dad order for her for every dance they went to.
Just a gift. The light is so bright you can hardly see pale purple blooms.

Fun at Sky Valley
We went up to Sky Valley to Wendy and Johns and Jamie and Lorraines.
They're here for 2 weeks, exploring the area and having a blast..
They cooked us a great hamburger dinner and it was so much fun to be together.

Visit at Hemet
We went down to Hemet for a visit with Glen and Leah and Doreen and John.
I was very startled to see the neighbour enjoying his music and the view of rooftops from his roof. Apparently he put a folding ladder up through his vent. Then guess what? Glen saw a tarp covering the roof when it rained.

Good Pool Games
We have the greatest group playing pool. We finally have 3 women regularly and have now encouraged Janice to join us.
Is someone really giving directions???
Dennis and Ron are shooting. Ida and Phyllis waiting their turns. We play every Wed. and Saturday and the laughter is so amazing no one ever missed a game.
It's amazing, now all of us win our share. You know how it goes, some days you're great and others? couldn't push the ball in the pocket.!!!!! It's been a great season.

Desert Cacti
It is so beautiful seeing many cactus in bloom.
The 'branches' coming out the sides of these very tall ones are the blooms I think.
I have never seen these yucca like ones bloom before.
Another different one.
This red flower is the size of an apple and edible.
So many different ones. If all of these buds bloom, we'll really see them.
