Rosemary and Alex arrived for a few days here in our park. We had Peter and Marg and spouses join us so had a lovely time with all eight of us.
R and A brought salmon from their fishing trip to Rupert last summer and it was delicious.
Marg and I must be hiding in the background.

Girls Provincial Volleyball tournament
We picked up Isaiah and went to Tradex to see Hana's team play. Watching a game. Very busy place - there were 10 teams playing at all times.
Instruction and strategy.
Here's our girl.
I was very impressed with the girls. Their team spirit was amazing. If a shot was missed, a big high 5 and encouragement was in order and they were all having a great time. They only started in the fall so their skills were developing nicely. They missed third place by 2 points in their division and it had a great time. Proud of them and their coaches.

Month of Appointments
All seniors come home to do income tax and get their yearly check ups. We're the same but sure manage to enjoy along the way.
Our dentist has moved to Morgan Crossing, a new development area, but my idea of where Croyden Dr. was, turned into a new scenic route. I loved this painting in the lobby. So White Rock on the left and downtown Vancouver looking toward False Creek, Stanley Park the north shore on the right.
Our Doctors both moved into hospital positions so our new man is from Nigeria. Seems sharp.
At the eye Doctors, one of them painted this and it hangs in the reception area. Very cool looking.
We were out at Willowbrook Mall in Langley and surprised to see these geese looking like they owned the parking lot.
They had to share with the ducks, 20 feet away.

Easter Dinner
We had a lovely dinner and day with family. Amazingly, everyone had the same day off.
It was fun to catch up with school, jobs and growth after 5 1/2 months. Isaiah is the one you notice most, taller and his hair is quite darker.

Off to the Sunshine Coast
Life is always very busy with this family.
There is a new Olive Oil store in town and we picked up some Black Mission Fig Balsamic Vinegar and mixed it with Tuscan Herb Infused Olive Oil . We enjoy this with a baguette as an appy. The store overlooks Molly's Lane.
I went to art classes.
Our gymnast is really gaining new skills. He hits the mark, does a complete somersault and lands on both feet.
Took the kids to the park.
There were 6 deer on three front lawns. This one is cheerfully eating George's japonica.

Back to Friday Night Pool
I picked Penny up ( we graduated from St. Paul's Nursing together) and we went to the Hospital where we joined the Sunset Auxiliary Group run by Joni. She and I graduated from St Ann's Academy ( high school in New Westminster). This is my 3rd time joining this group starting in the 70's but life kept getting in the way.
We tossed a toony in the pot and I won these beautiful flowers. I have to make do with my flower wall art behind when I don't have fresh flowers.
We started playing pool Friday nights down at the Eagles Club in Blaine WA in 1982. We are still playing with 3 of the original couples and many more friends going back to close to that time.
We had 32 this week so it's very busy and lots of really good players now.
Ron sinks the 8 ball and wins the game. Then he and his partner played for 1st or 2nd. The opposition broke, sunk a ball, ran the table and won 1st for $25 each. The other 3 players never had a chance to lift their cue. Great games.
